I joined 1047 Games to help with one of the biggest challenges facing the art department, which was to help modularly breakdown and design environment pieces for one of the more complicated factions (due to the design language and bespoke nature of it at the time).
As seen in the shots below, there was a goal to have a very clean/simplified aesthetic mixed with aerodynamic shapes. On top of that, an emphasis on highly saturated gradients on white surfaces.
During my time with 1047 Games, I focused on the development of two maps of the same faction, Aeros. One of those maps, OZONE, was featured heavily in the cinematic trailer and in the Fall 2024 Closed Alpha.
Since this game is in active development I can’t show much. But for now, here’s some shots from the aforementioned trailer that feature some of the areas of the map that I designed.
